I Work Hard to Develop My Self.

A simple guy, who loves to live the life, as it is without any complicated. This is who I am. My name is Abdul-Raouf Albaijan. But you can call me “ Abdul “ I am married and my wife is studying in Woodbury University. I am a father for two boys. Saudi Arabia is the place that I came from, Eastern Province. Dammam City. I am from a real Muslim family who like to live in peace and pray 5 times a day.

My father is very strict, tough for that he taught me how to face the life difficulties in an early age. However, he means a lot for me. Furthermore, I learned from my father how to be kind, nice, gentleman and how to be helpful for my family, country, society and friends.

I graduated from high school in 1992, and start working in Royal Commission of Jubail Industrial city in 1994. Royal Commission is one of the highest government departments in Saudi Arabia. I started my own business in 2001 and I quit working in Royal Commission the year after. Since that time I was thinking how to continue my education but I don’t find the opportunity. In Oct 2010 I decided to follow my heart to reach my dream, which is the higher education.

I have a lot of hobbies, but I am crazy with the classic cars. I have couple of them. Furthermore, I enjoy cooking the Saudi traditional dishes. I hope I could show my MGMT301 classmates some of our cultural dished in the next presentation.

  1. Dear abdulraouf

I want to tell you that you are one of the good and generous people I have met, this is not a compliment! It’s a fact. Also, I’m glad that we share same memories about Jubail City. In addition, what an amazing things you learn from your father, may god give him long life. About the classic cars, Its another story, I was wondering maybe you can lend me the classic challenger (joking). Finally I hope you the best of luck in the future.

  2. As my classmate, and fellow group member I have got a chance to work with Abdul a little more. I would have to confirm that Abdul is very passionate about his religion, and follows it to the fullest. I had the opportunity to try try his amazing cooking of his traditional Arabic food, and it is absolutely delicious. Family is everything to Abdul, he loves his wife and kids very much. He dedicates time just for his children to take them to sports and spend quality time with them.

Although he has arrived to the United States only two years ago, I must say that his English is very developed. It does not come to me as a surprise because he is a hard worker and attempts everything to his best abilities. As a fellow classmate and friend, I can say that Abdul is always a great help, and has a positive approach to everything he attempts to do.

  3. Before knowing Abdul, I used to think people from Saudi Arabia are very serious and hard to working with. However, Abdul proved me that I was wrong. He is a very friendly guy and always be ready to lend his hand to anyone. I am very happy that I have the chance to meet Abdul.

He totally change my mind about Saudi Arabia.

  4. Dear Abdulraouf,

The first day I met you I was inspired by the motivation and enthusiasm you have. I can see you as a good leader in the bright future as you took our group to another level of perfection. I think taking responsibilities in a young age had a huge effect in structuring your personality in a way that you face any challenge successfully. Recently, we had a chat about cars and as you know I am not an expert at all, but I share with you the love for classic cars. If I plan to buy a car in the near future I know who will be my guide. Moreover, I am a big fan of Saudi dishes and I am currently practicing at my house so maybe I you can email me some easy recipes.

  9. Abdul you are a wonderful person. I have only had the opportunity to speak with you a few times, but I believe we would make great friends and strong business relations if you chose to remain in the United States and further your career here. You have a strong moral compass, you value family and tradition, and you are courteous to others. If we are the new generation of the workforce in the world, perhaps we shall change how our nations view one another.
